Only Six Steps, is that EVEN possible?
While planning our Roundtable for the Healthcare Staffing Summit in Las Vegas, we knew there was a big need for healthcare staffing agencies of all sizes to learn how to be a Healthcare VMS. Agencies realize that if they don’t take care of their clients need, to have one sole vendor then someone else will.
Even knowing that this need existed we were surprised by the incredible turnout and interest in the “6 Easy Steps in Becoming an MSP.”
The question is, it is really that easy?
Developing a partnership with a hospital system can be complicated, but if you take your time and develop a careful plan, then it isn’t has hard as looks. Tim Teague, BlueSky’s President, whose resume includes establishing a successful joint venture with a staffing agency and the Health Alliance in Cincinnati, Ohio, has written a High Level Vendor Management Questionnaire for staffing agencies to use as they evaluate their potential partnership with a hospital system. This should help the initial engagement an agency has with a hospital and is the first step in our six steps of becoming a Managed Service Provider for your client.
