Answers to frequently asked questions and tips for using BlueSky's Mobile App.

  • Logging In



    First-Time Login

    1. Confirm your BlueSky app is up to date.
    2. Enter your provided username and password in the appropriate fields
    3. Click “Edit Your Companies” and click the “+” in the top right corner
    Name: Enter your agency’s name or nickname if you prefer
    Code: Enter the company code provided to you by your agency. The company code must be entered exactly as it appears.
    Hint: the company code is the first portion of your agency’s BlueSky URL.
    4. Click “Add” to save
    5. Select your newly added agency from the list
    6. Click “Sign In”

    Please note: BlueSky support cannot reset usernames and passwords, or enable the “Login Allowed” checkbox in caregiver profiles. Caregivers must contact their agency for login support.

  • Timekeeping & Schedule



    Home Tab: Viewing Your Scheduled Jobs

    Upon signing in to the BlueSky mobile app, you will land on the “Home” tab where you can see a list of your upcoming jobs.
    •   Clicking on an upcoming job will open a detailed view of the job.
    o   On this page, you will find shift start and end times, facility information, and your scheduler’s contact information. Clicking the facility address will open your preferred map app. Clicking the scheduler email address will open your preferred mail app.
    o   Along with shift information, you will find the “Start Timer” button which allows you to “Clock In” for a shift.
    o   Please note: If geofencing is enabled, you will not be permitted to clock in for a shift if you are outside the facility’s virtual fence.
    •   The “Notes” tab allows you to enter any personal notes you’d like to track in relation to the selected shift.

    Schedule Tab: Viewing Your Scheduled Jobs

    The “Schedule” tab displays a calendar view of past and upcoming jobs. On the calendar, red dots indicate an unsubmitted timesheet.

    My Profile: Updating Your Information

    1. From any tab, select the three-lined menu in the top right corner of the screen to open the sidebar menu
    2. Select “My Profile”
    In this section, you can update your personal information, as well as add or edit your education history, work history, and references as needed.


    Credentials: Updating Your Credentials

    1. From any tab, select the three-lined menu in the top right corner of the screen to open the sidebar menu
    2. Select “Credentials”
    In this section, you can edit or submit state licensure information and other required documents.

  • Applying to Shifts



    Jobs Tab: Viewing and Applying for Available Jobs

    In the Jobs tab, you can view and apply for available jobs. Clicking the filter icon in the top right corner will open the job filtering menu.

    Tip: Pay Rates displayed in the app are for the preferred degree and specialty. Some jobs will accept a range of degree types. If you’d like to filter out jobs where you only match the alternate degree/specialty, select the “Ignore alternate degree and specialty matches” checkbox in the filter menu. This will ensure pay rates displayed are applicable to your credentials.

    1. Ensure your app is up to date.
    2. From any tab, select the three-lined menu in the top right corner of the screen to open the sidebar menu. Click “Clear Cache” to repair your app.
