Christmas is upon us again, even though it is the same day each year, it always seems to sneak up on all of us. There never seems to be enough time to trim the tree, wrap/buy presents, and make all of the Christmas goodies that aren't healthy for us. Not to mention prepping yourself to deal with in-laws or those other family members we try not to claim. The holiday season can be very hectic and chaotic. However, after all is said and done it's important to cherish the memories that are made, and make new memories to last a lifetime. Don't forget the reason for the season!

  4. The first president to decorate the white house Christmas tree in the United States was Franklin Pierce.
  5. Electric lights for trees were first used in 1895.
  6. The Nutcracker" is the most famous Christmas ballet.
  7. Jingle Bells" was first written for Thanksgiving and then became one of the most popular Christmas songs.
  8. The first state to recognize the Christmas holiday officially was Alabama.
  9. Christmas became a national holiday in America on June, 26, 1870.
  10. If you received all of the gifts in the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas," you would receive 364 gifts.
