BlueSky was originally developed as a vendor management system over 10 years ago for an urban  7-Hospital system in the mid-west. From its very beginning, the system was built with web-enabled portals to accommodate multiple vendors and multiple hospital level management log-ins.

One of the most difficult pieces in a vendor management system is the recognition and confirmation of actual time worked. BlueSky was ahead of the curve in this area and developed inputs with most time and attendance systems to electronically transfer times for invoice and payroll data. Paper timesheets can still be used and can be archived for future reference.
