Credentialing module features:
- Multiple state licenses can be entered, uploaded and tracked in Blue Sky. There is the ability to archive “outdated” licenses. Archived documents are viewable at any time. There is also the ability to indicate if a license is “inactive”.
- Customize all credentials and required documentation to meet specific needs of your facility, client or unit.
- The required documents are delineated by medical record, professional credentials, licenses, background checks and employment/financial documents.
- Blue Sky is fully integrated with NurseTesting and eSigTek documents. Skills checklists, competency exams, mandatory inservices and eSigTek documents can be administered directly from Blue Sky and upon completion by the caregiver can be uploaded into Blue Sky.
- NurseTesting.com is an online competency testing program that utilizes nationally validated exams for over 100 specific healthcare specialties. NurseTesting also allows for facility specific education and competency exams to be uploaded into NurseTesting and required of all agency staff placed in the organization.
The credentialing module assures:
- Caregivers have the clinical competency to perform on the unit they will be assigned.
- Caregivers have verifiable documentation of all credentials that can be accessed today or even years in the future without having to maintain hard copy files.
Recruiting Quality Staff:
The caregivers hired for contract labor will be entered by the subcontractor agencies. The hospital will not spend any time or money populating agency caregivers into BlueSky. Also, as the subcontractors populate their employees into BlueSky, it creates a proprietary database with searchable and sortable functions for future recruitment activities.
